Isaiah 58 speaks of fasting that releases the chains of injustice and frees the oppressed by sharing food with the hungry, providing shelter for the wanderer, clothes for the naked, and spending time with our families (v6-7). And when we do this our “light will break forth like the dawn” (v8). The Feast is a way for us to participate in this fast by sharing our food with folks who are hungry in downtown San Jose.
Join us, in partnership with Believers’ In Christ and other local churches, as we serve a hot meal, a care package, and a warm smile to folks in need in downtown San Jose. Come help us serve the meal on Sunday, May 22, at 3:00pm at 4250 Kirk Rd. San Jose.
Meal prep will be Fri, May 20, at 4250 Kirk Rd. starting at 5:00pm.
Donations are absolutely welcome! Folks in downtown are typically in need of new black socks and new or gently used backpacks or blankets.
